Darkness in my Home

Shadows of darkness at the home of the righteous
No peace for the wicked says the Holy book,
But darkness is at the door of the righteous eating and drinking.
What a bloody-red year
Alone and rolling over strange dark hills.

Ma fried baked beans on the smoky wood for penny,
Penny for food,penny for school.
Fire that cooks with white man's power, we never used, all to save penny.
Oh,man on the white jacket announces the arrival of the black lungs.
Everything wants to go black.

Oh no! They is a visitor and it is the well clothed virus.
He has travelled far and wide and has paid a visit to pa in the black man's land.
Oh no, not you! So much darkness here, but the pretty virus loves it.
And now pa is coated with the pretty virus on his way to join black lungs.
Light, only if you would choose me,then I can heal.
