Darkness oh Thee Darkness

Darkness oh thee darkness how I have missed
When the sun would set over the hill,
And we would forget everything when we kissed,
The last glimpse of light goodbye as the night started to fill,
With beautiful stars that danced looking like they were fake,
And how I was filled with the feeling of greed,

When I saw the ripples on the huge light blue lake,
But there are so many other things I need,
And I know there are many more things to see,
But yet I find such strange things inside of you,
Inside of your mysterious world I feel so small like a flea
But yet I know that deep inside you need me too,
So I will pray that you shall never start to fade,
And when you do I know that I won’t be afraid.
