Darts

I long for love like stars in the night sky
So beautiful, so infinite
Like flames that never die
Clouds of hardships may cover them so
But they are still with us here
Wherever we may go

Instead my love life is a one sided game
An exciting gamble they all love to play
I unfortunately became their board
With every command I gave to obey

Their actions get thrown at me
Like uncontrollable darts
If I am unlucky
I shatter into parts
It is their manipulation that forced me to stay
As they rolled the dice and continued to play

One dart hit me right in the spot
Sliced away the glue
That held my distraught
The game was over as they withdrew from my life
Leaving me alone in a pile of strife
