David

You’re the Adonis of my life
The one who bears Apollos’s pride
With a smile which you bear with stride
And eyes which glimmer like the constellations

Oh David, you are the Dionysus of my time
Stronger than those who feat Herakles
Faster than the hasty Hermes
Wiser than the omnipotent Chronos

Oh David, you make the Sun shine,
You and I are bounded by life’s uncertainty
But our love will last for eternity
For you are my soon to be…
Oh David, will you marry me?
