Dawn

Sun rise breaks the darkness of night.
Shining down with great delight.
Flowers bloom while others wilt away.
This is the sign of a brand new day.
Bees buzzing and birds singing.
Wind chimes swaying in the breeze create the sound of ringing.
The river rushes onward never once stopping.
White haired rabbits swiftly hopping.
Torrential rain washes away the joy.
Thunder rumbling in the distance threatens to destroy.
After the violent storm awaits a rainbow.
Hanging in the sky flaunting its vivid colors pink to yellow.
Small creatures stir in the undergrowth of the forest floor.
Chipmunks leap from tree to tree with the instinct to explore.
Dew quenches the thirsty lawn as
the sun takes its place upon the horizon
concluding dawn.
