Day by day

Day by day
Life's wasted away.
Underneath the fluorescent lights; a little at a time.
I'm dying.
A hole inside of me is growing,
Obscured and silent.
Falling further into the never.
The screams are deafening as they fall upon closed eyes.
Day by day,
A tortured soul cries.
Day by day,
You push to answer the "why?".
Day by day,
The colors bleed from my eyes.
The world now dead and gray.
Still I by day.

This Poems Story

This is something I wrote about how I interpreted depression, and how no one really notices.
