Daystar

It was a starry starry night, before the day He came.
He was and is the Daystar that lights our way, to a
Never ending path of glory, come sit and let me
Share His story.

It was a starry starry night, at least that’s what the
Writings say. The sky was ablazing. It was
Comepletly amazing, that the human star was
Born to be amazing, at being a blazing bright light
In you and I.

Yes it was a starry starry night. From past, to present
To future. Here comes the glory of our living God.
To no other do we bow our knees, nor our heads do
We nod. In our hearts do we chart the course,
To find our way home again. Like a compass pointing
North, that starry starry night pointed our way
Straight to you.

Yes that starry starry night pointed straight to you,
God’s first born son who led the way, for countless
More to come, but this time He was heaven born.
The veil between God and man, in pieces, it was
Forever torn. Yes, it was a starry starry night.
The Daystar was, and became our guiding light.
