Deadly Desire

She looked in the mirror
Her face filled with fear
Her stomach was not flat
Instead all she saw was fat
She turned to the side
And then she started to cry
Fat was all that she saw
She would rather weigh nothing at all
Her hair was falling out in clumps
Her blue fingernails were chewed to stumps
Her bones were sticking out everywhere
When people saw her, they couldn't help but stare
She stepped on the scale
And her face fell
I shouldn't have eaten that
Now I'll just get more fat
She was 30 lbs under weight
Yet she still tracked everything she ate
Her parents would often cry
Fearing that she soon would die
Her deadly desire to be thin
Was killing her from within
Everyday she just felt more and more unwell
She was trapped in a never ending hell
