Deaf Doll

They spoke of love as if I were deafened
Am I not here
Can I not hear
With my earless ears
So, I never spoke again
Leaving their voice recorded reminders
To play for all the barbies with no heads.
For it is
Not I
Not I
With the decapitated head
I wear mine
just fine
Unlike the black heart you tried to red.
