Deaf Ears

Sometimes important words just fall on deaf ears.
Rearrange and repeat.
It doesn't matter.
Deaf can't hear.

Maybe the cause of the deafness is faulted
to a buildup of scar tissue
from past love that halted.

How does one convince one as being sincere?
Will sincerity matter
if one will not hear?

They say actions speak louder than words.

But when actions can't explain,
words then are needed.
But deaf ears won't listen,
and speaking's defeated.
