Dear Heartbeat

Illuminated by the mind, true nature disgusts
All souls lost at sea, not even senses to trust

Stuck in humanity's trip, judging ourselves the way we do
Confined to a prison of thought, One Flew

But extended from thought lives a wild beast
Soul the pilot of a vehicle body leased

Out of every pour, branches of a poisonous tree
Insecurity exposed by a choice of my once Marie

In the ocean of salvation, my being separates
To survive, I must abandon all my shipmates
