Dear Santa

'Twas the night before Christmas
And as I sat in my room
Looking out my window starring at the moon
Just a little boys voice was all that I heard
And as I sat there listening I then heard these words
Dear Santa
I suppose you`ve gotten lots of letters from a lot of boys and
girls from all over the world.
And I know you`re going to be awfully busy tonight.
But I just wondered if you could help me?
You see, My Momma left us yesterday
The angels came and took her away
I know she`s somewhere up there in the sky.
So if you see her would you stop and pick her up on your way by?
Just put her here by the Christmas tree.
Right here where my daddy can see
Boy won`t he be surprised.
I want to thank you for your help Santa. Tommy
I sure would be surprised.
But the Lord up in Heaven knows it can`t be done.
So thank you Santa anyway for all that you have done.
But if you should see her when you go riding by.
Give her a kiss from us
And tell her we said hi.
