Dear Savior

Dear Savior, thee Savior,
Lift Your head up high;
Trudge through the brutal city;
Stained in blood, a tear in Your eye.
Dear Savior, thee Savior,
Scars carved among your hands;
Beat against the wooden throne;
To cure the hunger of worldly demands.
Dear Savior, thee Savior,
Your body broken, prepared for death.
Look upon us mortal men;
As You breathe the final breath.
Dear Savior, please Savior,
Your soul reaches towards the skies.
Strike down upon our sin;
Tear our curtain of despair, of lies.
Dear Savior, my Savior,
Spread Your wings towards the sun.
For You are the victorious!
Sin has lost, and You have won.
