Death of Dreams

Tonight, this moonless
starless dark night
you destroyed my dreams
and all that was, to me, right.
You sharp tongue cut
its ripped through the seams
everything unraveled
and was the end of my dreams.

Without a dream
what am I?
A shell of a body
that will one day die?
An empty vessel
waiting for a new host?
A spiritless being
A ghost?

Without a dream I am none existent
I am without breath
All I would have to live for
is death.
With flowers in my hands
and all the tears I cry
There in the large grave
my dreams now lie
