Deathbed

the accompanying chaos ceases to attention
All eyes on me
My mind is dull and like my eyes is without spark
The words have rushed to my mouth but won’t spill from my dry lips
From a distance a peacefulness is revealed
And now I see by the look in your eyes this is our final good bye
