Dedication To Fall

I was walking through a forest one day
There was no one there but me,
It was quite and full of beauty
There was so much I started to see

The trees stood tall and full of life
The leaves that hung on it full of colors
As the summer days said goodbye
The fall season now the forest covers

A stream ran by trying to find its way
There were birds singing a beautiful song
The flowers that decorated the woodlands
Would be gone for a few seasons long

For a moment a glimpse of my eye
I saw mother deer close to her fawn
They walked swiftly and just passing by
And as quickly the same they were gone

So much life surrounded me there
I stood still but I felt my heart soar
Captivated by falls sweet delights
That in time would soon be no more
