Deep & Hollow

Deep and hollow
The wind slowly blows through
Inside your soul,
Empty as can be
Darkness encircles,
Consuming all of your will
A path you can't see, which is so weak and shrill,
It is holding you still
Unfeeling you sadly cry,
As for time that never goes by
Black as night, it holds us tight
Made of sadness and rage
It is now all we crave
True and endearing we want to pray
For the darkness to go away

The loss of our hearts breaks us down,
As we slowly make our way to the aching ground,
As tears fall from our face
We slowly make ourselves to die
The light truly cries.
