Deep in the forest
Deep in the forest
there's a tree that we share
with apples for eyes and moss for its hair
It sways, and it stretches its limbs for a dance
and I follow along in hopes of a chance
that one day you may rest
in the bough on my chest
where I could protect you
and build you a nest
We'd spend forever and a day up high
in a tree we call Home
where we rest for the night
Deep in the forest
there's a tree that we share
with apples for eyes
and moss for its hair
