Deflation of Your Mind

The stars know my secret
They made me tell them so
Eyes, gazing upon us,
Full of wisdom as we know

My head is stuck inside a maze
A repeated misty haze
We're all full of some disgrace
and we'll know it one day

And my lighthouse of dreams
Showed me a closed door
it locked up my hope
washed me out to the shore

I was met with a deflation
One of your state of mind
I bit back my temptation
Cause it seems that I’ve been blind

Misguided words that I had heard
Made me fly so hopeful
now the shattered glass I sadly find
Is pitifully un painful

Breaking the dermis of hope
I laid there in red
A bundle of white roses
Now rest above my head
