Deluge in God’s own country!

Rain gods ravaging God's own country!
Deluge in Kerala,
People submerging,
Each soul under a nightmare;
Due to careless encroachments,
End this greed,
Let us be freed,
Countless are the dead,
Floating everywhere;
No rain, a desert,
More rain, a flood;
Escaping bitter realities,
Praying for the victims,
Sending condolences.
As the rain clears up,
The weather gets warm,
Hoping for a hotter dawn!
