Delving In: A Distraction Acrostic
D elving darkly into my
I magination .. Opening window of my deepest psyche
S urreal, strange, whirling chaotic mess
T asked I am by legal constraint this morass to tame
R eorder my true self to a new, calmer level
A cceptable to a society not accepting of different
C hange..., adapt.., blend..., fit in they say
T hose who stand out may be taken out
I nside I delve, ever deeper... probe, wonder, seek
O nly I find I really don't care what they think of me so ...
N ever mind. I'm going to go paint my sky fuchsia
