Departure

I fear to let you go,though I know I should.
Takes more faith to part verses asking you to stay.

If I could see the future and know that it is kind,
I might not fight to hold you here another day in time.
The window of my soul can't bear to pull the blinds on you.
To trust you part to safe prophetic end.
To reach a destine shore and never see again.

I fear to let you go,though I know I should.
Takes more faith to part verses asking you to stay.

If I keep you near me, one day things might be different.
Awake to a new mornimg with peaceful weather and tranquil
existence.
But that's not what is likely,
for changes rarely rise,
And what has been the past
will likely stay our lives.

Yet,

I fear to let you go,,even though I know I should.
Takes more faith to let you go verses asking you to stay.
