Depression

The darkness seeps in,
Slowly eating away at my joy
Doubt begins to wiggle its way into My head,
Tears begin to fall down my face,
And the aching in my chest grows Worse,
I scream out in pain!
But no one can hear,
All absorbed in their own lives to see
Me dying in front of them,
Whimpering in the dark,
I prayed for it to end,
To be happy again, to smile for real,
To be free.
