“I’m done”
Trembling hands intertwine with charcoal strands
A body drops to the cold ground
He’s foreign to himself
Thoughts are inexistent
Black possesses him to paint his body
Making an art project of himself
A medium unlike any other
Sharp, anything sharp to feel nothing
Ancient grey touches his crying flesh
A reflection once lively is now gone
His former self…
A memory.
