Depression

It is September 11, 2014.
Depression consumes many teens.
Parents always fight.
Teens cry at night.
Many teens have self harmed,
Yet no one cares, no one's alarmed.
Why is it happening?
Daily, kids kill themselves.
Pictures hang there on the shelves.
Tears are shed by members of the family.
All they can do is hope they're happy.
Why did they do it?
What could have pushed them that far?
Bullying happens everywhere,
And the people around never really care.
Why has society done this to teens?
You can't express yourself anymore.
You're judged the minute you walk out the door.
If only they knew
What teens go through.
Every scar has a story.
All they want is a little glory.
To smile is a fight.
They cry at night
Depression is consuming every teen.
Some won't live to see 2015.
