Depression is like a fog;
It comes when no one is looking,
And it always brings the cold.

Depression is like a fire;
It is hazardous to people,
And leaves a burn unseen.

Depression is like a pair of hands;
It strangles the victims,
And leaves them wanting to breath again

Depression is like a storm;
It rains continuously,
And it leaves a flood in the heart.

Depression is like the ocean;
It is deep and dark,
And leaves the victim feeling alone.

Depression is a disease;
It is an illness that can't be cured.
It is what a lot of people go through,
And something no one understands.
