Deserving Death

Your deserving death
ends my
nightmare of life.
The serpents are starved
of this soul's pain.
Hounds must hunt for
souls more worthy.
This soul is empty
no nourishment here.
Searching for your soul,
an eternal feast they'll find.
Devouring your deeds,
a soul more worthy.
This soul wakes up
to a new beginning-
Light on the shoulders
of sanity,
Open to laugh,
hoping to love,
Your deserving death
begins my
dreams of serenity.
