Desire

Lips purse in cherry ripe yearning
Soft flesh, pearly moist
Dewy orchid beseeching
Opening, beginning to flower.
Onyx eyes narrow, expose passion's flame.
Unspeakable longing burns oxblood deep
Spills glistening drops on stormy seas.
Wind howls, burns in her brain
Oh sailor, take warning
Take cover
Or face the deep
Heart keeps thrumming
To the rhythm of emerald-drop rain
Pounding, resounding
Violet waves curl,
Crash and retreat.
