Desperate Love

Every time that I try to shine
You stop me by saying "you're mine"
My love for you is still all the same
But your love for me is just a game
I told you that I want you
And you told me that it isn't true
I am not that desperate but I am for love
Your words shoot me like I am a white dove
My words are weak and no one will care
Like a kid that won't share
Feeling like a child in a candy store
Calling me a backstabbing w****
I can get what I want from you
But I can't get you to say it is true
All will end with nothing there
Because no one would care
Maybe falling for you is like trying to be Buddha
Why I love you is a strange thought but this is for my baby, Dakota.
