Destruction

All this violence, hate and destruction.
These young people need better instruction.
Children are crying everywhere.
People are stealing without a care.
All the rioting; all the fuss,
Is making it hard for me to trust.
I see the news; it breaks my heart.
How did all this hatred start?
We need relief; we need some saving.
The world needs to stop misbehaving.
Destructing our cities, our homes, our lives.
Needless to say, poverty thrives.
So many wasted hours spent building a town,
Just to watch people burn it down.
I want to scream, to shed a tear.
Who wants to live their lives in fear?
Attempting to kill the people who save us every day.
Where is the good in living this way?
We need better role models for upcoming generations.
We need to stop ruining the nations.
Violnce isn't the answer; it isn't the way!
What was it that led this world so astray?
All of us together need to heal,
And lose all this hatred that we feel.
We need to come together as one and rebuild what we have lost,
Because look at how much this rage has cost!
