Devil in Disguise
Angels have the wrong idea
They think I’m many things I’m not
Innocent as a child
Bright as a star
Perfect as a flower
Sweet as honey
Little do they know
I’m none of those things
I am much darker
Cold as ice
Broken as shattered glass
Silent as the wind
Dark as night
But I am also much more
Strong as a diamond
Brave as a soldier
Clever as a fox
Mighty as the sun
Angels have the wrong idea
Because they do not know
I am the devil in disguise
