Diamond In The Sky

Dad, and mom you shine so bright,
Like the brightest diamonds from heavens sky,
and at night when we close our eyes,
You always send us a hug, and kiss goodnight.

When you were here, you could be like a diamond in the rough,
but only when you needed to.
To teach us a thing, or two.
This was called tough love.

You always seen the best in us,
No matter what we had done,
You still gave us a hug, and kiss, and said it will be OK,
Your lesson here is done.

We miss you so much,
And send our love,
To you both high above.
Keep your diamonds shining bright,
and as we send this message,
we can see you smiling with delight.
