Diesel

I heard
A man in India ate a
Car, slowly,
Over the course of a year.
I wonder if he
Could taste the mileage
On the wheels,
If he could still
Feel the rough hands guiding
The steering wheel,
If his eyes glow like
Headlights.
I wonder what his
Family thinks
Of his new diesel
Heart.
