Dim Due

Her SWeet lemony aura danced around the cool crisp air
laughter spoiled rotten hissed like a fixed dare
Drenched in doubt I buried my slow foot
I handed my tears to the thick in the burning bush
Embers scold at me with cold eyes that moan
I tied my pity to the fence around her lingering song
Her hair in a whole mile whispered a song so soft
Pink petals bowed for the green stems on cue
Her hand waved so light in the night
I felt ground underneath me stake anew
Her smile washed out the crude stains in the corridors of my mind
Love called out her name holding up a piercing blue sign
Her breath took refuge in the silence of time
