Disaster at Home

It was a regular Sunday we went to church
After is when the family gathered for a talk
My dad started to cry
All of us kids confused looking around
He finally brought himself together and he spoke
"Your Mom and I are getting a divorce"
We all sat blank faced for a moment then it hit
Like a volcano erupting
Tears flowing like the lava oozing out of the top
It was ten times worse when my brother asked
"Who are we going to live with"
My Mom and Dad both broke, the flood gates released
Once my Dad left I cried myself to sleep
Realizing he wont be there in the morning
Thinking back I can not believe it has already been 4 years
Time flew by just like a jet carrying the president
Divorce wrecks any home even my own
