Discontent

Look I say!
Laid fluffy and white upon the ground;
the fallen angels that were once clouds.
Ice hearted and heavy,
their wings could no longer sustain them.
Now they lie wasted upon the earth.
Look I say!
Just look once!
Before you close that window.
Before you draw those blinds,
and know-
that even in their absolute beauty,
amidst the winter chill,
in their silence the wasted land is covered,
and it too, is deceived.
