Displeasure of Falling in Love

I have had the displeasure of falling in love with you.
I'm not sure how or when, but you have gotten under my skin,
you found the one opening in my heart and made a home there.
I learned all of your flaws and insecurities and still I adore you.
I learned your past, present, and hopeful future and still I cherish you.
I know that you have known that I have loved you.
And I have always hoped that you have loved me too.
I don't know the reason that you chose her, but you did.
I just hope that someone else can love me as I have loved you.
And hopefully, I can love him back despite my love for you.
