I want to ride a bus to the far edges of the earth
So that I can feel the world
And hear the earth's music glistening in every spot

I want to ride a bus
And glimpse the sun sinking below the horizon
On a darkening farm
The smell of grass and dried sunshine on my tongue and in my throat
Watching my breaths float in the chilled evening air
Wisps of dreams and moments and this instant
All blurred in between their crevices

I want to ride a bus
For weeks and months
With snowflakes papering the windshield
And glistening raindrops nudging them away again
With the sun streaming in through mud-splattered windows
Scrubbed away to see towns, cities, farms, forests, and lakes
Dissolving into each other with the solvent of life
