Dive, Delve, Diven
There was a girl who delve in a hole
And so deep she fell, her hair caressing each crevice and nook of said hole
Her existence hadn’t always remained in this hole for she had emerged into it over time
She was strong, but weak
Happy, but exhausted
Resilient, yet shot down
She was palpitating a certain rhythm of her cardiac that some would claim as abnormal
Abnormal? She was abnormal with her eyes so high and her mind too large
For the girl could fly if she wanted to, if only her feet would leave the ground.
So she sits with her thoughts that could jumble any crossword
And she waits for the beating to stop
Her focus narrows, her fingers straighten, her shoulders roll forward
And she’s ready to dive again.
