Divine Presence
I am standing in the rain,
Letting the feeling wash over me,
There is no shelter,
But, there's one that you can't see.
Outstretched around my soul,
Letting it begin anew,
I have freedom to breathe,
When I see a trace of blue.
The sun bathes me,
Like the cooling rain,
Taking away my shiver,
Taking away my pain.
Invisible as they are,
No matter what the weather does,
Their love is so pure,
It holds back a great flood.
When the stars twinkle brightly
Yes, they're still around,
Loving and protecting so completely,
Listen to the quiet sound.
Letting the feeling wash over me,
There is no shelter,
But, there's one that you can't see.
Outstretched around my soul,
Letting it begin anew,
I have freedom to breathe,
When I see a trace of blue.
The sun bathes me,
Like the cooling rain,
Taking away my shiver,
Taking away my pain.
Invisible as they are,
No matter what the weather does,
Their love is so pure,
It holds back a great flood.
When the stars twinkle brightly
Yes, they're still around,
Loving and protecting so completely,
Listen to the quiet sound.
