Do Enough

We come together once a month to reunite and share the night.
to welcome back old and new, the friends we've made in all we do.
We talk about a meeting past, was it then? It went so fast.
We think about our last event, was it worth the time we spent?
We look about at faces round, do they agree, did we arouse...
a quiet moment, a whispered prayer
did we offer up a hand, to help a fallen Soldier stand?
did we offer up a humble prayer to thank them for the good they do?
did we offer up a word of cheer for broken spirits, minds and fears?
In all we do did we recall the reason that we do it all?
Our Freedom is a precious thing; our duty still remains the same
helping all to win the fight with love and kindness is our aim
let every task we undertake be it big or very small
that we are here to serve them all.
