Do I Forget to Look

Too many times I forget to think,
to look in the mirror and remember my kind eyes,
and the small smile I used to have-
kindness in one small moment
walks on out.

Do I forget to look at love
and his flaws, to end such spite
I spit out mine own anger.
Love is still at the door
waiting, knocking to come in.

Wait a moment, talk and
waltz in at that right moment.

Too much it is too much to love
someone who does not know how
it hurts too much, for him to hang himself
with little words
he doesn't understand

Do I forget to look,
to love
to appreciate
what right is there
in front of my eyes?
