Do I Really See?

I'm blind to the goodness that falls upon me.
I'm blind to the whispers of the sea.
I'm blind to the beauty of the trees.
I'm blind to the love of my family.
I'm blind to the hopes of humanity.
I'm blind to broken hearts that suffer and bleed.
I'm blind to the starving that need to feed.
I'm blind to God's almighty creed.
I'm blind to giving for those that seek.
I'm blind to love upon its peak.
I'm blind to listening as children speak.
