Do Not Weep for Me

Death is the beginning of a life that I want to know.
God has given me joy, laughter, love and light-
And even in the times of bad, given me comfort through the night.
Remember the twenty-five years I had to share,
the silly games of truth or dare.
Do not weep for me now that I must go;
There is life after death, I know.
Carry me in your hearts for the world to remember,
My soul is something cancer could never dismember.
God gifted me with lessons to learn,
Gave me empathy, compassion, and a heart that yearns.
Pass on my love and light
In hopes it will get somebody through the night.
Do not weep for me now that I must go-
Jesus is waiting for me, don't you know?
There are angels singing on high,
And angels with wings that really fly.
I will be united with the holy Trinity,
and I will live on for infinity.
So do not weep for me now that I must go.
I'll live on forever, and we will be together again I know.
