Do Unto Others/the

Treat others the way you want to be treated,
It's a concept of life that is often misleading.
The truth is the measure of one's affection,
For we as human beings are in need of professional correction.
I treat you the way I want to be treated,
more like I will treat you the way I treat those I have defeated.
We batter and bruise the sincere to where they're confused.
We leech off them taking their kindness and love,
until they are just like us filled with hate and partially consumed.
One step away from taking the plunge into the ocean of despair,
and an eye for an eye and simply pulling of hair.
To get ahead, we pave the road of those we have bled dry
and turned their hearts to stone
to get ahead we give death a break and take to reaping of souls.
There are angels on earth but not as you think,
they are those who do for others without even having to blink.
Superheroes who take bullets like superman
and rescue damsels like Spider-Man
but lack the prefix and are simply man.
Those who joy cannot be drained and smile never removed
no matter how many knives in their backs they have to remove.
Treat others the way you want to be treated is the golden rule
but only few are worth their weight in gold
Those who know the true meaning of those words
are the real reason why the streets of heaven are pave with gold
because when you reach there
you drop your bar into the next awaiting mold.
