Do You Love Me Now

Sitting at her vanity.
Beauty brushes her dark tresses.
Mirror's reflection shows lies.
The truth of her sorrows,
it comes before her tomorrows.
He has wed another.
She more beautiful then her.
She more gentle, more fair and kind.
Beauty still loves him.
She loves him so much.
She'd do anything for him.
She'd even die for him.
That thought has been on her mind,
for months and days.
She took a sip of her red wine.
Gold goblet falls to the ground.
Beauty's eyes closed.
Her head falls on her vanity desk.
A single tear streaks her left cheek.
Her last final thought was,
Do you love me now.
