Do You See Me?

By

It was upon one visit without a disguise,
What happened to looking through clear eyes?
This is the law of the land to be masked on demand.
Do we always remember the reprimand?
It only takes one time to miss the mark.
The area of ramifications are like being closed
up in Noah’s Arch.
One hug is the kiss of no return.
Because my time was not reaffirmed.
The temperatures that happen upon you are so unstable.
The feeling of unrest is written on the label.
My disguise is missing and my body is hooked
to a live disconnected cable.
It’s like watching a fairytale but you can’t
turn the truth into a fable.
Just keep hope close to see yourself well,
Grasp on to what never fails.
