Does Jealousy Sit in a Bar Stool

Does it hurt? Sitting back and watching
Are you uneasy with the way I make conversation so easy
Does it eat you up inside?
Seeing them lay their eyes on me
Does jealousy sit in a bar stool between me and you?

Can't imagine what it's like loving a creature like me
Always wild but never free
Steady with my finger on the trigger
Even deadlier with silence

Don't worry you're not the only one
With an empty space on their mantle
Foolish enough to make a space for me
Cause space is just what I need

You turn green with envy like the flowers in my cigar
Whispering under your breath
"I just don't see what she sees in him"
But that's just you wanting to talk

Does it hurt? Sitting back and watching
Are you uneasy with the way I make conversation so easy
Does it eat you up inside?
When they stand so close to my side
Does jealousy sit in a bar stool between me and you?
