Dolphins skip across the sea
what magnificent creatures they must be
to dive to depths in the great abyss
then rise to meet us with a kiss.
One thing in common we share with thee
we both need air, yes you and me
So you in your world and I in mine
we never will meet or find the time
to look eye to eye as creatures you see
for I’m on the land
and you’re in the Sea.
