Don’t be Afraid

To tell the truth, I've never been brave.
The problems I face are not massive in size,
and they do not succeed in intimidating me,
but that reason by itself explains what I mean.
Just because I've never been scared of anything
doesn't mean I can compete with true brutality.

All it means is that I've lived in a first-world country
and none of the problems I know compare to the one's
I don't. I may think think my life has been hard,
but there's always somebody who has had it worse.
I'm not sure I'll ever understand the complexity of conflict
or the purpose of creating problems from faking confidence.
